Broadway Glass has been in business for over 50 years, serving all commercial businesses and residential customers.

 

Owner Howard Cohen has been operating Broadway Glass for over 40 years. Broadway Glass is authorized to handle and cover all insurance company claims and will deal directly with your insurance company, leaving the customer without having to fill out any claim forms.

 

Broadway Glass adheres to all safety codes and OSHA safety procedures. Upon request, we will provide you with a Certificate of Insurance, which covers workmen’s compensation and business liability insurance.

Broadway Glass is involved with these glass associations which help to maintain high standards in the glass industry and follow OSHA safety procedures.

The New York Glass Association is an organization that is active in the state of New York. At the present time, NYGA has employed a lobbyist that is introducing a bill to help the glass industry change some of the insurance procedures which affects small independent glass businesses.

The Long Island Glass Association/New York Glass Association is an organization that is active in the Metropolitan area. Howard Cohen has been president of this organization for the past 35 years. LIGA/NYGA is presently working in conjunction with NYSGA's lobbyist. This organization strongly stresses safety procedures and safety code laws that are in affect. Training manuals are available for all members. Meetings are held to discuss different topics that relate to flat glass and/or auto glass.

Owner Howard Cohen had served on the board of the New York Glass Association for 2 years. He has been and is currently the president of the Long Island Glass Association for the past 35 years. Howard Cohen is actively involved in his community, serving 12 years as a volunteer fireman, belonging to the exempt Fireman’s Association and was a member of the rescue squad.

US Glass Magazine is active in all 50 states. US Glass publishes a magazine that is available to all glass companies nationwide. This magazine covers all topics including but not limited to education and the sale and purchase of glass related products. They inform the industry when and where educational seminars for flat and auto glass installation will be held along with training tapes for new safety procedures.
